    The Christian Democratic Appeal(CDA) due to religious reasons wanted to criminalize sex work via the Swedish model but have met with resistance/rejection from other political parties and sex workers themselves.

    They’re a staple of the city. Never gotten any but it’s an iconic district

    It would ruin Amsterdam, that's what most people go there for, it iconic, and not in a seedy way. It is what the place is known for😥
