I think it is foolish of them to proceed with a live event :

Imo it would be much more sensible to have the Inauguration

off-site at a secure location , and televise .

I would even discourage regular folk from showing up at all .

: yes have big military presence , but remove the ‘target’ .

/ also need forces at all 50 State Capitols .

new administration would prob be afraid it would be seen as
a sign of weakness

and america does love its traditions of office

It's a cult which Trump is making worse with his lies, it's sad a police officer had to lose his life over something that should not have happened. I do fear there worse to come for the US As it is deeply divided now.

Not sure if you saw the video of the guy who was part of the mob that broke into the White House where he's very upset that he's on no fly list labelled as a domestic terrorist. Who knew that his actions might have consequences lol
