I miss the food and of course, I also miss my family too.

I can't agree more with that. I'm glad you're going home to be with your loved ones. A new year, a new beginning. Your dog will be fine, maybe the vet can give him something to calm him down during the flight, so that he doesn't get agitated especially if it's his first flight and, of course, I hope you got him used to the cage. All the best for the future Floki, and if you have time sometimes you can come here and say hello. we will miss both you and your posts, but "Every new beginning comes from a different beginning." -Seneca. Take care of yourself Floki and Merry Christmas.

This is unfortunately not allowed, which is understandable.
Training with the cage is not easy, but he dose not cause much hassle when I leave in it so much now, he goes in sometimes to sleep, which is a good sign.

Rick will be picked up on the 17th and his flight will take place on the 18th. He will be staying over at a dog hotel he stayed at, who are also the ones I arrange the travel with too. So all good with that

I am flying back with 3 large cases and a bag to carry my food and extra with me.
The negativity of it all, is that I'm going back with no job and basically no money and I also have to quarantine for 2 weeks.

But than again, I won't be alone for the third year in a row for Christmas

All this is a new beginning and coming up to 40, things will be tough.
I am getting shorter, forgetting things, but not going bald like the average joe on here

    And thank you.
I hope you also have a great Christmas xx

I will gladly donate for you as a gift for Christmas and as a thank you for all what u did here for us. And I think will not be bad idea guys and girls to find a way to give to Floki a little gift from us to say goodbye to him and for Christmas. Somebody come up with an idea to make this happen.

Don't always let your first experience be an issue.
I am sure that you will get along just fine.

With the many thanks I have gotten from you guys here, this is enough for me to actually feel appreciated somewhere and makes me think that I was not so useless after all.
    Thank you for that

After 6.5 years, I will be going back to the UK with nothing, but the clothes on my back and my dog.
It just means that I can't afford to get my family anything, which they already know, but I am sure that my family will get me something nice, even if it is small.
