I'd imagine they would have at least 5 now if not 6!!

Even though NZ have a better head to head record , SA clearly are the best in history.

Amazing how quickly the couple of years will pass by .
I hope we can build on where we are now,
The success of U20s definitely gives hope .
I hope we are all around for 2027 ,
WCL opened thread, but we appear to have lost him permanently.

I never liked him, I always felt in any 50/50 decisions he gave them against Ireland.
Best of luck in your retirement Wayne.

At least he went out on a high with refereeing the final of the RWC.

Mike adamson is possibily the worst referee of all time.

    Thumbs up

So much anticipation built up in the months leading up to this tournament. After securing a Grand slam, Six Nations title early in the year. It look like Rugby World Cup Paris 2023 had Irelands name all over it and J. Sexton was set to bow out in shtyle.
In the end the Irish stumble, yet again, at the QF hurdle

Roll on the Six Nations 2024 in February.
    Consecutive Champions?
    Back to back Grand Slams?
This will be the event that shows the ☘️ is the leading team to beat in the Northern Hemisphere.

The boys did themselves proud but we missed a massive opportunity, no question.
It’s now a matter of if we can stay in this stride and do business in next year/two for the following, defending the up coming Six Nations, then a 2024 summer tour against who else but the World champions in South Africa and we hopefully see an Irish stacked Lions Tour in Australia and that only the half of it. Then couple years after these RWC 2027 Down Undda. Exciting stuff, loads to look forward to.

I’m convinced that if the honchos decided to go after 2027 they could do it. We were only a touch away from being in the final this time.
