I felt this mans passing deserved a thread of its own
I will always remember watching in awe of this mans talent at the 1986 World Cup , where he destroyed Belgium and especially England, and the infamous “hand of God “
His lifestyle caught up with him , he will arguably be remembered as the best player ever, but without question in top 5 ever

The Jimmy Magee commentary of his wonder goal against England, will always be remembered,
Without question in the top 5 players of all time, real shame that he got caught up in drugs

Aw what a wonderful player he was, yeah his second goal against England in 1986 and Jimmy McGees commentry still lives with me, can someone please put it up.... RIP the legend

I hadn`t seen this thread until just now and had posted earlier on General Chat about Maradona`s death. Just to add that it has been a sad last few months with former footballl greats passing away what with Big Jack, Nobby Stiles, Norman Hunter, Trevor Cherry, Ray Clemence and now Diego. RIP to them all.
