    Question Slangs!

What kind of interesting slangs do you know which you may use, but not elsewhere in the rest of the Ireland or the UK?

One line I use that I got from my father, if I was to say to somebody, 'Do you have 10 Bob?', that person is unlikely going to know what I mean.
In this case, I am asking for 50 pence.

Another my father (from Carrickfergus) would say, 'How you diddling?'
    Meaning: How are you?

In London, some will say 'Apples and Pears'.
    Meaning: Up the stairs.

In Lancashire (where I'm from), we would say 'Ova yonder'
    Meaning: Over there.

Share some of your interesting slangs.
    It's fun.

But do not use these to attack users on here please.
Do that out on the streets

''Rough as a bag of chisels''.............as in ''He's (or she's) as rough as a bag of chisels''............. someone considered to be vulgar and possibly lacking in social skills.

Yesterday, I taught our Nightshift lady, Savannah on that we use quite commonly in the UK and Ireland:
    And Bob's your Uncle

For those who do not know, 'And Bob's your Uncle' is a phrase commonly used in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries that means "and there it is" or "and there you have it".
Typically, someone says it to conclude a set of simple instructions or when a result is reached.

Robert Cecil, AKA Lord Salisbury, who was a British Prime minister. He appointed a favourite nephew, Arthur Balfour, to several political posts in the 1880s. Arthur Balfour became Prime Minister after his uncle.

Hoke. A word that does not appear in any dictionary but used often.
