I am in the same boat, wfh since March and although it was grand for the first few weeks soon realized living alone gonna be a challenge. So considering travel was off and holiday refunds received thought, how best to make use of this situation? Friends just keep watching news and yapping about Covid numbers (like they understand what each means) so I kinda found escape on EI. Just thought I have better chance surviving virus than dealing with depression...

I hope you will be well . in some ways I started on the Forums due to a form of Isolation some years ago so get where you are coming from

If you can get out for exercise as much as you can before full winter sets in, in itself healthy It also breaks the patterns that we can all easily builds up without really noticing in these times

Eh just to clarify what I meant to say here "kinda found escape on EI", was just referring to meeting ladies that advertise on EI rather than discussions, threads.. most of threads are exactly about what you want to escape from..

Thats a great idea . I have thought about this for myself in December. Even if its just the gym, pool a few pints and PS4 for the night it beats being at home

Working from home since March, was in the bedroom too and moved to another room I find that helps a lot. I exercise nearly everyday. I am doing courses. There is positives to be had out of all this if you want to. If you are unfit now is the time to get fit. You need to get out of the house for a walk or a run to keep your sanity. There is nothing else to do anyway. TV, news mostly crap. I am hopefully going to get promoted at work in the next few months. That is all due to lockdown and learning new stuff while I had the time.
