For anyone with even a passing interest in politics the US election is like Christmas come early
I watched a documentary last night explaining in detail the American election process, electoral college votes etc
Fascinating stuff for the uninitiated. The only bearing the popular vote has is on the distribution of the electoral college votes, first to 270 wins the pot. California’s votes go to Biden and the Texan votes go the other way, that’s a given but no one can call the swing states
Beer and popcorn in front of the TV Tuesday night to see which of the two white rich men wins.

Dont forget to keep us updated on how its going. When will they know the result? Will some states take longer to get the full results from.

most states should have their results in on time but the postal ballots may take longer to count so I doubt there will be a final result by morning

As with all else Trump it is likely to be a shit show, If he wins he will have no dignity no class in victory NONE

If he loses BIGLY he will I hope be suspended from Twitter etc so that he does not incite riots

If it is a close run he will fight like a pig so fuck knows when there will be a result

I hear you, the elections are so undemocratic.

This country is miles ahead in terms of democracy, where your local polling station is your local national school, where voter intimidation is not an issue, where no party is trying to supress citizens right to vote. If I was a US citizen I would be embarrassed at their so called democracy looks like.

God love us if Trump wins, and even if he doesn't the chances of riots and republican armed mobs taking to the streets all with Trump egging them on.

Trump will have no class in either defeat or god forbid victory.

Florida is hugely important and is the key to the prize
Polls close there at 7pm local time and they have a history of fast counts, keep an eye on the results from there

Trump lost the popular vote last time
But won on electoral college votes
I’d expect a reverse this time round
The most important thing is that he loses by a significant margin, no credible grounds for complaint.
Think how bad Brexit will become with Trump propping up the UK with some fantasy trade deal
