Floki: What line of work were you involved in before sex work industry, maybe you were a student? Studying?
Gia: Lots of stuff, Harmony Addiction . I Was basically supporting addicts. I worked in retail and other stuff, but I defiantly enjoyed working for harmony addiction the most out of all of those.
But It was kinda hard to find in Ireland, so you have got to have connections and so I was like, meh.
Floki: So you worked for Harmony Addictions.
Gia: Well it's basically kinda of helping people who are using drugs and other varieties of way of getting high. I was running works shops with other users and helping care providers.
It was like a bridge between the addicts and health care providers.

Gia: No, totally naked, I d not wear anything

I think, any kind of passive that shows a lot of respect, I am really turned on by that.

Floki: Do you have any relatives or friends who know what you do for work? What kind of a reaction have you received?
Gia: Oh, everybody knows. With family, it's kinda of weird, because some people are in denial about it. Other people like my siblings were kinda like awesome at the beginning and so I told them that you don't really get to have a relationship.
With friends, I don't want to be friends with those who are not open to people who are sex workers. It's a bit of conversation to have with someone.

Floki: Would you accept a booking with anybody that you know personally?
Gia: I think that it would depend on the relationship of that person, but I wouldn't say no, flat out as an answer.
Floki: What if it was a friend, somebody you know for a few years?
Gia: I don't know, it would be a conversation, as I would ask, 'Why me?'.
But if they said that I was the only person that they felt comfortable with, but we would have to talk, make boundaries and consent, and then I could see if I felt comfortable about it.
It would be complex, but I don't think it would be a 100% no.

Gia: Yeah, if they pay me and then we just hung out and there was no sex at all, then yes this is fine.

Floki: What advice would you give to somebody who wishes to take part in the escort world who was new to it all?
Gia: I would pretty much tell them to weigh the pros and cons and don't assume that they will make easy money, cause it's not easy work.
On some days, you may make a lot and then you may might make absolutely nothing. They also have got to have thick skin, as there will be some unpleasant people.
You have got to have assertiveness and bounties to fight it off, but once that is over, you have got to try and have fun, be yourself.
