This apparently is in the review regulations. It basically means moderators can edit any review any way they feel like. And generally this means they will edit reviews to make them appear less negative than they were intended. This is the reality of the reviews on EI, and is the reason why they do not give anything like a picture of reality. You cannot even trust that the negative ones are actually what was written.
