    Cool Cooking for engineers...?

    Have friends check.

Invited them for a dinner party check.

Need to impress them with your culinary ability erm... wait, what?

Nothing against engineers you can add any profession in the title that's stereotypically not supposed to know anything about cooking but sometimes one needs a little help in the kitchen.

Cooking for Engineers is a website that started out as a place for its founder to store recipes he came across and some of the notes he took. It developed into something much more: a collection of handy tips, information, and great recipes.

In the words of its founder, Michael Chu: "Basically, I started the site as a place to store all the food related stuff that I didn't want to have to carry around in my brain, but I would want to reference later. Sometimes people ask me (or quiz me) about cooking and there's a tendency for me to smile and respond with, 'I wrote it down so I wouldn't have to remember!'"

Nice idea, but judging by a small minority on this site, it should read as...........

Have NO real friends, only cyber ones? - check!

Pizza in front of the computer again? - check!

Need to get a life - CHECK!!!!!!!!!

Even Pat recognises this - hence the "addicted to, becoming addicted to etc"
