What an escort can do is tell the second caller that she already has a booking or is fully booked but can she keep the number in reserve incase of a cancellation/noshow. That's how I met Lucy Chambers the first time.

I don't think this is all of a sudden. If you read reviews going back years it is quite common. It has happened to me once or twice, though not that often.

I don't think it has anything to do with COVID, if that is what you mean, though I could be wrong.
