Police are leaving Independant Escorts alone and that is good, These escorts are changing it for the better for everyone and great its working out well for them, there is nothing the Police can do anyway on Independent Escorts who are working alone, they're not interested here or never was unless to help with enquiry. They are not out to get the Escorts, they are acting on information gathered from intelligence and other sources that there is criminal involvement
you only hear of arrests made where there are several escorts in the apartment but again its not often, this is illegal anyway and where the traffickers make their fortunes, I discussed before why these places were not safe for any escort or clients and its makes total sense,
Its so difficult to catch the traffickers as they know too much, are never there and have their henchmen doing the dirty work but even in a raid they are seldom there and most sex workers don't know and/or afraid to speak out.
I am against brothels, no need for it as does not make anyone safer, clients should not be the criminals for paying for sex but should be prosecuted if caught with trafficked lady so we all know the legalities of it and its up to all of us to make changes so everyone is safe be it escort, client, you make the correct changes then both parties win and the traffickers lose, freeze them out
Escorts groups making too big deal about the New Law and how its affecting a huge majority of escorts which is totally untrue as its a law that never really got of the ground in Ireland, Trafficking must be tackled first, its snowballing as nothing been done at all here, it simply can't be brushed aside and made out its not a big issue, its good that many escorts have adopted a policy of working alone, screening and protecting and distancing themselves from these increasingly criminal elements

Absolutely, it's not just a minority of escorts that are trafficked, it's in lots of other areas. Crop picking for instance. In can be in any area.
Legislators and those opposed to prostitution use trafficking as an excuse to make paying for sexy illegal.
As FetishCherry said, leave the legitimate sex workers alone and go catch the actual criminals.

Ireland is the worst in Europe when it comes to dealing with trafficking in all forms, majority is sex trafficking as that is more lucrative, the legitimate escorts are being left alone buy police if you read my posts as simply no interest to the police and the police can not nor do they want to bother the genuine independent escort, the problem is brothels and that the difference here, the illegal side of this which we all know, these are the traffickers bread and butter and where everyone becomes unstuck, you mention the traffickers and the police not doing their job, how about helping them and other sex workers on here, police are not going to do it on their own, escorts and clients need to do their bit before tougher legislation is brought in and enforced not just here but throughout rest of Europe, Ireland is all over the place and does not know how to deal with it properly and does not even have the proper qualified health professionals/staff or facilities to deal with trafficked victims, really is bad
I don't visit escorts here now as no longer here and its just not here but there some great escorts in Ireland who are genuine, don't share, they are being tormented by these Greedy vile and ruthless people, Its these girls that need the support and money now as covid19 been so difficult and you're not playing into the traffickers pocket by visiting them.
Even in Poland, we are been tormented by traffickers too more so now and they are taking over
The way forward here is avoid the brothels and only visit the Escorts who you know are independant and working alone, these girls are screening in order to protect themselves and by doing so are protecting the clients who visits them too so everyone wins and if doing this you won't have to worry about the police or criminals in the same way, that's a step in the right direction
Hopefully TonyB, more will do the same and gradually see some positive things happen

Like tonyb I’m an experienced punter and in all my visitors , I have never felt that the escort was doing anything against her will , quite the opposite they encourage me to come back and sometimes ask will me to give a good review to get more customers, I think most escorts have a business plan , do this for a few years earn a nice little nest egg for themselves and then retire ,

When we lived in Belfast we were tormented until we had to leave by Mafia trafficking gangs dealing in both drugs and prostitution , they there today too
These houses and apartments were all bought very cheap and they had two sex workers to each room and its the same today but its not talked about even though we did report
Even when these girls were moved around and back to England, Europe ect they still got money from other escorts by renting them out at 3 times what the normal rent was.

My point is with brothels and with touring escorts who use these apartments ect they don't know who they are sharing with, some will be acquaintances and some they never ever see and that is not good for anyone. You are never going to hear the real truth of what goes on for obvious reasons but you can read between the lines

Escorts are never safe in these places, in fact they make the escort a target, for one you can't screen correctly a client in a brothel as you are not in total control of your surroundings
Only when she has her own place to work from is she as safe as she possibly can be and the client too so its win win for all and that how it should be, priorities first

Excellent programme on a true story. All those who wonder why the escort you rang had no English, no reviews, pictures on site different to when you see them in the flesh, several living in an apartment and cheaper than the verified escorts wake up and smell the roses.

I,m not expecting more from them, this story is from 2018 but they repeated on Tv, of course, is the year of the Swedish law review and they want to make sure nothing will be changed in our favour so keep rolling their propaganda to maintain the image to the public that we all are trafficked, forced into prostitution etc. I keep saying media is a tool to control people minds and plant in their heads what they want people to believe.
