Judd Trump beats Mark Williams 17-16 to make the World Championship final. Well done Judd. Unlucky Mark...what a fight of it he made.

17-11 to Ronnie I should say.
I know my snooker, but I've never managed to bag the outright winner at the World Championship. I've had more bad luck over the years haha... another chance tomorrow, but it's a great final for me because Ronnie winning a seventh World title would be brilliant also so now Trump has made the final I can just enjoy it... hopefully it is a great match, but Trump has to improve. The way they're performing I'd be looking at Ronnie 18-12/18-11 so Judd has to up his game and then who knows?
My auld fella has won it a few times though. I remember he had Peter Ebdon in 2002...it was a ridiculous pick, but he always called him the grinder haha. I think he got about 30/1 on him that year and he'd throw a few bob on it aswell. 18-17 that final was...Hendry threw it away in the final that year. He was alway my favourite. All out attack.

Should be a great final
I like both players, I’m glad Judd has regained his form
I think Ronnie should win it by a couple of frames
Maybe 18-15

So the consensus here is Ronnie equalling Stephen Hendry's 7 World titles record over the bank holiday weekend.
I think he is for sure the most talented player in snooker history and he's won the most ranking titles, but he'll want to win the seventh World title to really cement his status as "the greatest". I don't think anyone will ever dominate a decade like Hendry did in the 90s - seven World titles and he lost to our Ken in another final... incredible! However Ronnie has had the longevity which has been amazing.
Hopefully it's a cracking final.

Interesting statistic I just seen that I didn't know.
Final head to head between the two players is 7-3 Trump including the last 4 finals. The World Championship final is a different beast though.
Trump 1-0...he only needs another 17 frames haha!
He missed out on the century. I heard in commentary that the last time there was a century in the opening frame of a World final was in 1993 for Hendry. That's crazy. Maybe in next year's final where it will be 30 years.
