I notice the price of masks dropping slightly but the amount of profit taking is still disgusting, and the government have a cheek adding vat on top of that inflated price.
To anyone that doesn't like me here.
I hope you need to pee 3 times tonight, but that you only wake up twice.

I got a cloth mask for 2.25, I don't know where you are shopping but there's no price inflation where I am

Near medical quality disposable masks were selling at €35 to €50 a box nationwide a few weeks ago. Now down to €25 a box. Last year you could get 5 boxes for less than €50. Somebody is making money there.

I use AliExpress and bought 50 black masks for around 15€
I also got 2 masks in which you can wash and replace filters, which looks quite cool, they were around 5€ each.

I only wear them when going to shops and inside any other public places.
If the law states that we need to wear them on the streets to, then I will, but for now, only inside public places.

Take a good look at those black masks, or rather a look through them. If you can see through them, they're next to useless.
Local chemist is bringing them in and reselling @ €7 each. Loads of people wearing them as they do not restrict breathing, but they offer very little protection.
Package does have a ce mark but ce are just 2 random letters in china.

These masks work as good as the regular masks you get.
I have tested them. So all is good.

There can't be another lockdown as people won't accept it, they won't listen and as for financially its ruined anyway, The restrictions in Ireland should not been lifted as quick until it was gone, it been better to ease it more gently and be sure, like the winter months are to come yet and if there had been a few good hot months then it been worse, its clear that people had no regards for others, they started with masks for first few days and like most things then dumped them as seeing others not wearing them, no enforcement either not that it could be done.
England not good either and will get worse but what a cock-up they made.
Financially Ireland crocked anyway, LEO has fcuked the people up and now with Brexit, the country going to end up paying billions to the EU
