Not been in Monaghan much either, although I was there a few months ago. The famous "red door" has not been used in a while, I think. I assume (maybe wrongly) that it is where Sandy was based. It was discreet when Sandy was using it is not now. I have been warned about it and I myself have seen "Garda looking" people watching it.
As you say, maybe Sandy'sman will enlighten us..
