You seem like a smart guy, Don, certainly smart enough to understand that the POTUS doesn't 'oversee' wars. He/she instigates and then walks away while people die.
Like Bush did with Iraq and Afghanistan.
Like Obama did with Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Honduras.
Like Trump did with ... yeah, nobody.
When you can instigate policies at home that causes deaths and misery, why start a war?
