My boss asked me recently if I was planning on going back to the US. I travel there for work about 4 times a year. I told him I would not be there in 2020 and probably the first half of 2021. He was not happy but I told him I was not going to risk my life as long as a large part of the country thinks this virus is a hoax.

They are protesting in many places for the rights not to wear masks in the US, because it's America and they are American and have the rights.
That is their only fight they have.
I call it an act of ignorance as they are being selfish.
If the law states that you should wear a mask, wear one.
