'Black lives matter' protest in Dublin

What about all 'other' lives. We have spent 3 months in lockdown. Most of us unemployed... Social distancing. Separated from family and friends. Restricted to 2 and then 5k travel from our houses.... Social distancing went 'out the window' yesterday. It was absolutely terrible what happened to George Floyd in Minneapolis, but! taking to the streets of Dublin considering the current Covid-19 emergency.... careless, mindless, rediculus and achieves absolutely nothing... Where are all those protesters today.. some hope of contact tracing... !!!!!

Don't think protesting about something that didn't happen in this country and we don't have the complete facts about would be seen as 'essential activity'

No offence, but responding to Black Lives Matter with Every Life Matters is so wrong right now.

It's as if I went to the doctor with a broken bone, and he responded with "All bones matter" Yes of course they do, but this is the one that is broken now. Let's fix this one.

Brilliant response! The "all lives matter" is an ignorant attempt at deflection away from what is a major global problem. I lived in a mainly black neighborhood in New York for about a year in the late 90's and witnessed this issue first hand, over 20 years later the problem seems to be even worse.
