Like everyone is saying, it purely depends on coverage, I have 3 myself but only because I don't use it regular so I just have it pay as you go. In the towns it's fine, can peek download at 110kbps which is just under a 1mb connection, upload forget about it, can even play streaming content during off peak times, now in the country different story, look at it as a way to get your emails and moderate surfing and your ok.

I use 02 myself when I'm on the move. It's very good. It's very good for watching streams.

It does depend alot on you location.......... 3 works well in D4
