They have to be strict about the 2 km thing. It is really to prevent people from forming sort of groups, but it has to apply to everyone, or else people will break it.

If you are cycling by yourself there is zero chance of infecting others or picking up the infection. You are simply too far away from people and outside. It is vastly different if you are exercising inside a gym where they air builds up. Saw people going into a gym near me last night and i was pissed off. Having said that you still have to abide by the rules.

The other worry as well is that if you are in an accident while cycling and have to go to hospital. Then you are fucked.

Anyhow i love cycling but will just use my turbo trainer for the time being as much as i hate it.

And they will chose you because you are younger, healthier and have more of a chance of surviving and they will let the more older more vulnerable person die even though she might have been the more careful one who did everything she could reasonably do to protect herself and others. She dies and the health care worker must watch her die.

Anyone stupid enough to be seen entering an apartment that they do not live in is likely to be reported by neighbours to the gardai and the consequences could and should be very serious for both parties.

In this difficult time we have the opportunity to preserve life. Nothing is so precious and we all need to stick together for each other.

This is what i have been telling people since the pandemic started. I even told my neighbour and he just strugged me off.

It floats in the air. A bit like perfume, in that if you spray it in one room in the house, you will smell it ten minutes later in a different room.

Michael Osterholm was repeatedly saying this.
