Recent high numbers in the 3 Counties (K,L& O) mainly due to the outbreaks in the Food processing factories - workers in the factories, their families, their contacts when they were asymptomatic/ Also understand a number of itinerants around Tullamore town infected.

There was an outbreak in Dublin around the Mater hospital area among the Romanian, Indian itinerants community. A number were moved to the City West for isolation but went AWOL after a few days.

They are paid Polish rates direct by the Polish company.

People who lived in the Republic but worked & paid by a NI company were not entitled to the PUP.

So I understand, a polish owned factory here in the Republic of Ireland can be paid polish rates? which would be lower than the minimum wage here in Ireland? I could set up a factory (polish owned) fly in migrant workers (seasonal) and pay less than minimum wage? That can't be right.

Exactly Kildare is out of control, tonight us here in Laois had no new cases. Take the Chilling meat factory in Kildare, which I know well, which have now had 150 workers alone infected, when the outbreak was detected last week, it remained opened, the owners of these factories have a lot to answer for, all the are interested in is the bottom line. 3 Direct Provision center, 2 of which is not too far from me here, are used as a source of cheap labour for these places, it's no surprise we are where we are. What is reported in the media is a load of shit, like these Direct Provision Centers here in Laois should have been locked down, instead they were allowed travel to local shops and risk spreading it further and here now we all have to suffer in the midlands.

    Where is Doubling Airport?

It's the main airport of the Republic of Ireland.
Every day it doubles the number of Irish Covid cases.

Color Codes to replace ‘opening the country in phases’ .

    Irish Times :

The Cabinet committee on Covid-19 met on Tuesday and Ministers discussed the new nine-month plan which will detail how the country can safely live alongside the virus in the future.

    And can you blame them.
The poor lads and ladettes are finding travel to Ibiza difficult.
Stuck under clouds in Temple Bar or Churchtown what else can they do but drown their sorrows.

Well a lot of punters are pushing on you know.
O ok you're right, we're not that old.
The young uns don't remember the flu of '57 or the Flu of 68.
One or other was the Hong Kong flu and the other was probably called Asian flu.
Both had estimated death totals worldwide of about a million which the old Covid is probably now at, given that many cases worldwide will never be recorded.
Speaking of Asian the adherents of Hinduism and Buddhism believe in reincarnation.
The ultimate goal for a Buddhist is to achieve Nirvana, ie nothing, nothingness, no more reincarnation.
Something the returnees here could never understand.
