As regards testing everybody that is not humanely possible, i have already brought a close friend for a drive thru test, and the text procedure takes about 10 mins and 3 people on average just to conduct the test
At the Croke Park Test center, there is one person at the top of the street, one person at the entrance to the stadium 2 people at the first stage, 2 at the second stage and 1 the exit, total 6 plus 2 at each of the 10 test bays, and probably a few others, then you have the labs to process and the logistics of getting the test kits to and from the test center and the people scheduling the tests and compiling the results etc. It is a massive operation, and then the actual supply of test kits etc.
They are doing a great job with the resources available for testing and it is restricted also by the amount of kits they can acquire when the whole world is looking for them.
