14 days if you have the symptoms but haven't been tested .

If you are a confirmed case you are only infectious for another 5-6 days because you are about halfway through the cycle, if you are only showing symptoms then you can infect people for up to 14 days because you’re at the start of your infection

Those are the sort of companies that have the expertise or availability to produce something in large quantities and at short notice if tasked to do so.
Whether or not they do do it for altruistic reasons (they wont) or for big profit is beside the point
The fact is theres a lot of big businesses in the UK that can be repurposed to build a simpler design of ventilator (rather than compete to buy standard ones that have doubled in price)
It will happen....mark my words
