Say what you want about the quality of journalism in the Sunday World, it's a waste of time. Something proactive needs to be done by EI. We all know the 90% figure is bullshit. Why doesn't EI contact whoever came up and ask for sources? Why doesn't it do it's own independent anonymous survey to counteract the claim?

The Sunday world would not publish the results as it doesn't suit their agenda.

I've met a lot of escorts and not one of them are grateful for Ruhama's efforts ,in fact every one I've spoken to have said they would love to see Ruhama disappear. That's not going to happen any time soon of course but then again the escorting industry isn't going anywhere either. The law makers in this country need to reconsider their stance on sex work and decriminalise and legalise the profession. It will hopefully happen at some stage in the not too distant future.

Why do they never interview any of the punters , they could contact us on here and ask have we ever experienced any girls who were trafficked , because I would be happy to tell them I haven’t, I have met some that didn’t seem to like there job (or me) but you meet people like that in all professions

An article in the sunday rag doesn't reach the same audience that it used to.
I stopped in for petrol this morning as the papers were being delivered and there was a huge parcel of returns going back. Out of interest I raised the subject with the shopkeeper. Only 6 copies sold yesterday, 20 years ago he would be selling more than 50.
Paper nowadays is full of bull and advertisements. They cant afford to pay good investigative journalists and rely heavily on prepared press statements to fill space, and limit their liability.

To be honest TKM majority of my clients who visited me had no idea about this article or about the radio add. I read here but had no idea they started this campaign. Generally, I don't believe almost anything from media, they are just tools in the hand of interested powers to control people minds and plant in their head what they want. They call themselves independent but try to go in direct on radio when Ruhama talk, they will not accept u. Happened. I,m not talking generally, happened when was a debate on the radio about the sex trade and Ruhama was talking and SW rang at radio to go live to say our part and was not accepted. so what are we talking about? freedom of the press?
