An article in the sunday rag doesn't reach the same audience that it used to.
I stopped in for petrol this morning as the papers were being delivered and there was a huge parcel of returns going back. Out of interest I raised the subject with the shopkeeper. Only 6 copies sold yesterday, 20 years ago he would be selling more than 50.
Paper nowadays is full of bull and advertisements. They cant afford to pay good investigative journalists and rely heavily on prepared press statements to fill space, and limit their liability.
