The readership of the sunday world, would be safe to say not the brightest. Not all of them of course, but a lot.

The sunday world could print an article about how the sky was made of oreos and the earth was flat and some of its readers would believe it.

So when they print a piece on escorting, spearheaded by ruhama, then the readers believe it.

There was a 2 page spread with 4 articles:
One general one about the industry, 2 where a journalist posed responded to advertisements where the job was massage/escorting one in Dublin and one in Belfast. The final article was about Fiona Broadfoot and Rachel Moran (usual ban all sex work 100% everywhere).

So no balance to this at all.

They seem to have nothing better to write about, same shit regurgitated every time. I’m sure there are girls but I have never known or known of a trafficked girl. If I did I would obviously help them. I would say the vast majority of us are not trafficked, a lot of us you’ve met or seen advertising for years that doesn’t happen with trafficked girls. Trafficking includes girls in nail bars farm workers cleaners housekeepers to name a few. Why isn’t this being exposed? It’s obviously not lurid or exciting enough for the gutter press.

2 big things @ play here all to do with the review of the insane, which will of course ultimately just be a rubber stamping exercise with perhaps increased penalties for punters -
1 The pigs will be launching a few spectaculars to catch punters and a few ladies working together, primarily so there will have scored alot more than the under 40 Ladz before the courts, expect it to be substantially higher!
2 Anti Sex worker nutters ramping it up for more draconian implementation of the insane law and more importantly increased funding!

Im with you on the premise that this appears to be a concerted PR.. The advert, the sunday world and then follow up with another day of garda doing name taking and publicise it in the media ... Is there another world anti trafficing day or something coming up?
