Do you mean Noble? No newspaper story that I'm aware of. Do you know what though - It doesn't matter how noble I am, or you are for that matter? The only thing that matters is that people should know about this, and that's why I plastered it everywhere.
Or do you mean Nobble? What does that mean? I'm too old to understand all the trendy slang of today!

ok i went to the website for a look and found this
Sexual Exploitation
People who have been trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation may:
Be of any age, although the age may vary according to the location of the market
Move from one brothel to the next or work in various locations
Be escorted whenever they go and/or return from work and other outside activities
Have tattoos or other marks indicating ‘ownership’ by their exploiters
Work long hours or have few if any days off
Sleep where they work
Live or travel in a group, sometimes with other women who do not speak the same language
Have very few items of clothing
Have clothes that are mostly the kind typically worn for doing sex work
Only know how to say sex-related words in the local language or in the language of the client group
Have no cash of their own
Be unable to show an identity document.
so got me thinking
- long hours - seems dodgy enough - should girls that advertise 24hr availability be allowed to advertise on here ? or those that are available 7 days a week ?
- sleep where they work- so who is gonna tell the cops about these girls ?
- language / only know sexual terminology - we all know these girls exist - are we gonna tell the law and then ban them from on here when we find the can hardly speak the lingo ?
- few items of clothing - can i ask to see their wardrobe ?
any more thought folks ?
I also don't really in it one bit. It's like the tooth fairy or santa claus. Many independant enquiries have shown there isn't really any such thing as trafficking. NOT among public punters... no way... it'd never work.
There are many terrible frauds perpetrated, they're done by doctors, bankers etc. This would be impossible, and girls can easily just tell tales. They are treated so well it's ridiculous. I bet the gardai bend over backwards for them, then the gardai go after ordinary people or simply don't help them. I mean it's BEYOND a joke.
I believe almost NOTHING the mainstream media says anymore. It's completely made-up lies. It's a bit like Pro Wrestling... sure it might be entertaining... I love watching 24 hour news channels sometimes... but the important things are nearly all fake. It's very rare that something like the recent church scandal actually gets publicised, and I think much of the huge publicity is only because some people have a deep-rooted hatred for the church.
You are taking the piss yeah? noone could be this stupid or naive
I can do the translation in German & Romanian.
I can do it in Italian & French as well but not as good as the other 2 languages above. A native speaker would do it faster and more likely better then me
Let me know which translation you would prefere and I'll PM them to you asap.

I read that on the website and thought it was laregely rubbish. You can see what I wrote myself is different, because I wouldn't repeat everything they said there, as I do think most of it is rubbish. Things like the idea of a lady being tattooed by her "owner" are myths anti-prostitution campaigners go on about, but NEVER in my life have I seen it. Most of the signs listed on that website are not common sense I think. No, I don't think clients should be reporting escorts for working long hours, sleeping where they work etc, at least I wouldn't be if I were a client. BUT if a client gets the feeling that a lady is being forced to work, if they meet a lady who seems really scared and unhappy or has injuries, then yes, I think reporting it is the right thing to do.
I don't speak French but I do kiss that way
I also think 99% of what we read in the media about trafficking is rubbish. I've seen no credible evidence that trafficking is a widespread problem in Ireland. But that doesn't mean it could never possibly happen here, so it is absolutely worth all of us watching out for it I think.
Also, whilst this picture organisations like Ruhama paint of women being tricked into thinking they are coming to Ireland to work as waitresses, then locked into rooms with bars on the windows, whilst clients gleefully come in and abuse them etc, is very fanciful, that doesn't mean there aren't escorts out there who could use some help.
Exploitation is an issue. There are escorts in Ireland who have pimps, who are being ripped off by landlords, or who would just like to get out of the industry. We should be saying to these ladies that there is help for them if they need it.
I've talked to a number of foreign ladies over the years who came to Ireland completely of their own free will knowing they were going to work as escorts, so weren't trafficked as such at all. But still, then ended up getting harassed by a pimp here etc, or having other problems and needed help.
The vast majority of escorts are strong independent women but we need to watch out for those ladies that are vulnerable and try to help them.
