Thread: Twitter

  1. Default Twitter

    Anyone know how to get a twitter account un-suspended? At least with Facebook they tell you WHY and for how long they're suspending you. I've gotten no info from twitter except their standard page of "why we suspends accounts" nothing about why this account specifically

    You'll have to email them. It might take a few days to get unsuspended or to find out why you're suspended.

    I have heard this happening to a lot of pages.

    Many were not given reasons to why their accounts were suspended.
    And when they do receive a reason, they just receive a message saying that they broke the rules, with no specific notes stating what rule(s) was broken.

    Twitter seems to be quite unprofessional in many ways.

    I started a twitter page
    Search's for Escorts show no results
    @escorts
    @irish escorts
    @ different buzz words
    No results
    My first twitter page doing nothing for me to find escorts

    Did you post nudes or explicit content
    Do not phone an escort to book a meeting
    Phone a lady with whom you wish to spend time

    Be a lover of ladies not a buyer of services

    Never actually thought I'd be affected by Twitters moderation - does this make me a real sex worker now? Twitter banned. Profile deleted by a certain advertising platform that we're on right now... joys of criminalisation of sex work I guess, we're stuck with the short end of the stick

    There was guy was going round Instagram and Twitter reporting accounts as such in the past.
    Any posrnstar or sex workers accounts found, he would report, which then the account were then closed.

    It seems that this may be a case of a similar story repeating itself.
    Twitter don't like accounts that talk or sell sex work, but yet I have seen so many accounts with much more graphic details which are still open.

    There are celebrities that are revealing more flesh than some accounts which have been closed.

    Stigma about sex work is still an issue for many.
