I don't think that I have ever met an escort doing a "day job". Although I can think of a few that do have day jobs too. I suppose the smarter ones know that escorting is not a long term career option, and they want experience at doing something else that will last longer. I do have a day job, from 9am to 5 pm, never had a problem, I don't do late evenings or parties or overnights, so I can't see conflict on schedules, to be honest. On top of that, I have a personal life where I meet friends and family, I even have time to do my own things, gym, shopping etc, It's a matter of being organized. What I am never are is available at short notice, but that actually works out perfectly, keeps the TW away

A cashier probably takes home around 5 to 600 per week I'm guessing for a 40 hour week. A successful escort ....well..
It's hard to see why she'd bother with the day job as a cashier. That's just my opinion.
