Not really. A lot of car parks close at night so if you get locked in then you have to go get someone. Or you park at the side of the road since there's no traffic warden and you're in view of everyone. Most criminals and cops are out at night.

On the other hand, during the day everyone is out and about and you are just one of a crowd. At night you may feel safer because there are few about but you then are one of the few and you stick out.
Perhaps exception is hotels where evening and later, but not too late, may be better. That way you avoid housekeeping and cleaning staff.

I consider more discreet during day when lots of people around and u will get lost in the crowd then night. day time all neighbours are at work not many around but night time everybody is home or around in and out form apartments, o hallway, I have more chance to be discovered as working girl during evening time (the night i sleep i don't work) than during the day. During day is very quiet in the block because people ar enot home but during the evening people in the lift on the hallway. It is a false feeling u are safer at night time just because is.. dark ))

Good point. My last 4 appointments were in hotels and the two early appointments i had i was very aware of the cleaners doing their job. On one occasion the lady was cleaning the room next to us and she looked out at me as i walked past. Not sure if she heard anything during the appointment but she certainly heard our conversation at the end. Thankfully nothing came of it but it made me a little nervous.

Its not safe day or night going to known apartments , even with escorts with good reviews. And certain areas have serious heat on them these days. It is Russian roulette atm but I feel safer in Dublin than in small towns as its busier.

But then look at Santry, again loads of escorts, media attention, gardai raids and survelliance. I wont be going there, no loss not 1 decent pub in that area

It's as safe as you make it, talk with the lady about concerns, arrive early enough to check the area no matter where or when, it's not complicated !!

I prefer hotels in the morning, lots of movement, people going for breakfast, checking out ect. If cleaning staff notice you, they're usually just keeping an eye to see when they can clean the room. I often get a breakfast myself before I leave.
Apartments are good in daytime. Less chance that I will be sharing the lift as most people are at work.
Residential houses I find easier after dark. Neighbours have curtains closed, less likely to notice comings and goings.
