Given the circumstances of some of those recent attacks, I really think that's not good advice at all.

it is but you are not looking at the bigger picture here and there is a much bigger picture, I did say safe from both not just one and If hotels are used instead of the usual 'well known and used apartments' then you are really going to be much safer, its a no brainer if you actually think about it

we all know hotels are safer, Its the traffickers and pimps that own good few apartments that they're working out of, how escorts are beat up and abused and we never hear about it and those poor girls never come forward due to no help and pure fear?? most of them,
we have these gangs involved in the sex and drugs industry and are threatening girls who tour on to their patch, they know the score and know who are easy targets and that the place like back of their hands and theyre not there just to rob the girls but put them out of action and teach them and others a lesson, these mongrels violently beat them and thats

Too much information is shared by escorts anyway, you can't trust the Guards, escorts posting up duo's etc while the Guards are on here collecting all information, ok so they are active now in trying to crack down on these gangs but that doesn't mean the other is forgotten, no as there are different units in the police force so they still be working away as usual with Operation Quest.
The only sound advice I can offer escorts to keep themselves safe (as safe as possible and yes it can be done very successfully ) from both these gangs and police are to work totally alone and choose the correct/safest premises, that be hotels.

Why would any genuine client have a problem with this?

A genuine client wouldn't have a problem with it ideologically but in any walk of life services that can be obtained with least hassle are more likely to be used. If frequenting escorts became a chore there's little doubt it'd put people off no less than people are slow to chance utility providers or banks.

Every escort has to decide for themselves* what level of screening they want. Every client has to decide for themselves* what level of privacy they want. Sometimes those two sets of requirements won't meet and that's that.

There are hundreds of fabulous ladies in the US & Canada that I'll never get to see. And now a few here. That's sad, but I'm not going to complain about it, or blame the escorts in the slightest.

The only long term solution is Decriminalisation and destigmatisation. Then escorts can get police help if/when they need it, and clients can't be prosecuted or end up in the Sunday World.

Hotels/apartments, it doesn't matter. I've met one of the ladies that was attacked, I've met her in a hotel and I've met her in an apartment, she mixes it up. She also travels with a friend, she has back up checking on her, if the appointment runs over the agreed time her phone rings. She's a very intelligent lady, university educated. She's very well traveled, has met all walks of life. She even texted her regulars to win repeat business with familiar faces. Not a likely candidate for an attack in my mind.

I know nothing about her attack but in talking to her during our appointments I felt like her method of screening was charging highish prices, she felt like the guys she met weren't struggling to pay their bills and were therefore better clients. She also mentioned she had met loads of younger guys, her view was that if they could afford it well then fair play to them, in retrospect she may have placed too much weight on trying to attract wealthier clients as a screening method and may not have tried to factor in other risks.

I really hope she returns but I'd say chances are very close to 0%. This beautiful lady would definitely have benefitted from laying down ground rules that could verify the character of who she was meeting via other escorts or the operators of this site. The location of a meeting doesn't matter too much, verifying who is calling you is what matters most.

Escorts can get the help they need from the police, have you been watching the news at all with men arrested and charged? Even if the industry was decriminalised, screening is still a good thing, it needs to become standard, as for clients ending up in the Sunday World, they probably still will, they are scumbag sort of newspaper, I wouldn't even wipe my arse with if I had no toilet paper.
