I have never been asked for reverences by any of the ladies i have met but it it does happen in the future i would have absolutely no problem doing so or agreeing to any other screening she asks for. Especially in the current climate where since the new law especially the ladies are more at risk than they ever have been. I came across this thread on twitter and i think it worth reading.

I tried to meet British Kristie Friday when she was in Galway. Gave the name of two references but they were not available so did not get seen. Have no problem with this at all. Hopefully next time she is in Galway they will be available.
