I have screened clients (in southern Ireland) for quite a while now and loose a substantial amount of work due to this. I find that the majority of clients are uncomfortable with answering simple questions. Of course, I understand that most may consider it to be some sort of entrapment. However, with the latest spate of violent attacks against sex workers, I hope the client's mentality around this issue is changed. And I really hope today's media coverage contributes in a big part to this.

The more Ladies screen, the more standard practice it becomes. And I really hope that ladies are taking the necessary measures to stay safe.

As from today, I have clearly displayed my screening process on my profile. No screening cooperation, no appointment!

It's tough, but as some will never acknowledge there are two sides to every story.

Just read through the last 10 pages of this (ok, maybe 7) and all I can say is it highlights exactly why we screen clients. The simple act of not being a dick about it is almost enough for me to trust a client even if I can't get in touch with the lady for his reference.

A lot of what we go on is gut feelings, as British Kristie demonstrated with double checking the ID. We're not stupid, and chances are, whatever approach you take to try avoid or get around our screening, we'll have come across before, because sorry lads, ye're not very original.

If the work is too onerous or dangerous there are other options in most well developed countries.
Such options may or may not be less remunerated but they exist for free actors.
Btw certain exposed clients could end up as suicide cases if worst came to worst, so in all cases it is probably best to avoid blanket assumptions about anything.

Guess what? Punting is a luxury, it's not essential for you to get your rocks off with hot women that you pay for that pleasure. If you don't like the risk, don't do it.

Earning enough money to live on is a necessity. For escorts and other sex workers, there's reason's we have chosen this work. Our other options aren't as lucrative/flexible or might need more education or connections than we have. The likes of myself, and I assume Kristie, have enough options, or enough business, to turn down clients that we don't feel are safe for us to meet. People in more precarious situations, may accept clients they don't feel safe with. People who want to rob or abuse women, will seek out those that don't screen, those that work alone, those that are afraid to report because they may be sent out of the country, or have their children taken from them. The more normal that the more privileged of escorts can make screening, the more clients are comfortable with it, and the more confident the more precarious workers are with asking for it.

My long story short is, I won't be homeless without your business, therefore I can afford to turn you away if you don't want to screen. You, as a punter, won't die by not seeing me either, so if you don't want to screen, grand, go see someone else, or go without. You're not entitled to see me just because my number is up on this website.

don't like the risks, don't punt. Or minimise the risks, use a punting phone so your missus doesn't see your calls.

We don't like the risks, we minimise them as best we can by screening. Don't like the risk of seeing someone without screening, then we don't see them. you are not entitled to a ride, no matter how hard done by you feel
