Cardiff are still unbeaten under Mick McCarthy after a 2-1 away win against Bournemouth which takes them into the play off places on goals scored.
Barnsley beat Stoke 2-0 which leaves the Yorkshire team a point below the play off places with a game in hand over most of the teams above them.
Preston drew with QPR 0-0 with both teams staying in mid table.
If McCarthy can keep up this form then Cardiff mightn't be a bad bet in the play-offs although a lot of times form goes out the window in the play-offs.
    Are we there yet ?

True, the playoffs are a lottery

Derby drew 1-1 with their east Midlands neighbours Notts Forest tonight. The result leaves both teams in the bottom half of the Championship table and still not certain of avoiding relegation.

The Championship is a strange 1. Realistically any team in the bottom half given a bad run could be demoted while any team in the top half given a good run could make the playoffs .

Brentford came from behind to beat Stoke 2-1 this afternoon to stay in 2nd place in the Championship table. Bournemouth beat Watford 1-0 with 2 players being sent off after a mass brawl deep into injury time. The Cherries move into the playoff places. Swansea lost 3-1 at home to Bristol City which dents their chances of automatic promotion to the PL. Reading beat Rotherham 1-0, Cardiff`s unbeaten run under Mick McCarthy continues after a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough, Luton beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 which leaves the Owls still deep
in relegation trouble, Birmingham beat QPR 2-1, Blackburn drew with Coventry 1-1, Barnsley beat Millwall 2-1 and Preston beat Huddersfield 3-0.

Norwich beat bottom club Wycombe 2-0 away this afternoon to go 7 points clear of Brentford at the top of the Championship table. Still a lot of games to be played but at this stage the Canaries are on course for a quick return to the PL. Wycombe are moving closer to the relegation trapdoor.

Norwich are straight back in the premier league, other results going in their favour.

The Canaries are now promoted and will be within 2 points of claiming the Championship title if they beat Bournemouth tonight. Anyway main target achieved and Daniel Farke`s team will return to the PL next season. A blow for Watford`s chances of automatic promotion after losing 1-0 to Luton.
Swansea drew 2-2 with Wycombe which keeps them in the playoff places, Brentford drew 0-0 with Millwall whicjh also keeps them in a playoff place, Huddersfield beat Notts Forest 2-0, QPR beat Middlesbrough 2-1, Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 with Bristol City which still leaves the Owls close to relegation. Stoke drew 0-0 with Preston.

Ravel Morrison was a wasted talent. He was highly regarded in United's youths. Off field problems.
