Marcondes puts Brentford 2-0 up tonight and ahead 2-1 on aggregate and they could have scored a 3rd goal. A whirlwind start for them.

At HT Brentford lead 2-0 in this match and 2-1 on aggregate. Swansea will have to change things after the break if they are to stay in with a chance of reaching the final.

I'm guessing that away goals aren't in the equation here, if Swansea score it still goes to extra time ? No offence to either of the Welsh clubs or their supporters but I do think that Fulham and Brentford are the 2 teams that deserve to be in the final. So many times in the playoffs the form teams they were so close to automatic promotion get knocked out which can be gutting for their supporters.
    Are we there yet ?

Mbeumo puts Brentford 3-0 up tonight and 3-1 on aggregate and it looks as if they are on their way to Wembley for the final.

No away goal rule in the playoffs not that it looks as if it would make any difference in this SF anyway.

It’s good that Brentford have pulled themselves together, their league position shows they are entitled to a shot at getting to PL, a Fulham v Brentford final is only correct, they are 2 best teams in Championship outside of automatic places

Brewster scores for the Swans. Now 3-1 tonight and 3-2 on aggregate. There could be a frantic last 10 minutes plus injury time.

It finishes 3-1 to Brentford in this match and 3-2 on aggregate and they go through to the final at Wembley next week. It was a fitting farewell to Griffin Park after more than 115 years as their home and they will hope to be playing in the PL when they move into their new stadium next season. Swansea will have to spend at least one more season in the Championship but did very well to even reach the playoffs against the odds.

Delighted for Brentford, after disappointment of missing automatic promotion, they are now 90 minutes away from PL football
