But you were not born here, you were lucky to have the chance to move here, and you have taken that chance and I admire you for that. However it's wrong to say all or most immigrants do not want to work and it want the easyife, and the majority of Irish people on the streets are there due to drink and or drug problems etc, there is no shortage of work here for them.

I would agree a put not giving lots of be edits to immigrants but they should be given temporary work permits and given a chance.

I know of a 25 year old girl arriving this .onth from an African country who is going to seek asylum , she will lie to try and stay, her cousin was lucky to get a studen visa a few years ago and has a master's in business here, this girl is just as intelligent but did not get the chance. She's willing to leave everything behind to get here as she does not want to bring her future children up where she grew up.

That's a little bit harsh, Michelle has chosen to he a sex worker, only she knows would.she have gone down this route had she been born here with the opportunity to go to college and get a degree. As long as the decision to become a sex worker was hers and hers alone there is nothing wrong with this. I doubt very much if she is in receipt of social welfare payments and would guess she does pay taxes. Certainly she contributes to the economy just by been here and spending her earnings here

It is however interesting and sickening to see in the UK some of the most anti immigrant politicians are the children and grandchildren of immigrants.

The driver was from Northern Ireland and it would appear he owned the tractor unit. It would be logical to assume he was to bring them to somewhere on the Island of Ireland. More than likely, he would have come back the way he came, through the port of Dublin.
Hard to see that Ireland is not involved in some way, although some have been quick to deny involvement.

Would not usually have a driver go with a tractor unit alone to tow a unit to some other location other than a place close to where he had to return to.

some are offered big money to do contracts no questions asked and he is a young lad so it may be in on it but not sure yet but checks on the cargo should be done and questions should been asked and ignorance is no excuse here, why did he not do checks and why was the lorry avoiding the main check areas if all so legit, that is very worrying
