    Default Whats App Messanger

    Hi All,

Are there any ladies on this site that use Whats App Messanger?

My reason for asking is that sometimes a person just never has enough credit to call a lady they like, but I do have free internet.

    Mick :-)

Loads do, just save the number and check to see if they come up.

They might not have notifications on so might not get your call anyway.

Just be aware that WhatsApp is owned by facebook. They don't have access to the content of your messages, but...
    - They track who is messaging who
    - From where
    - How often and
    - For how long.

Most people would be shocked to find out how much can be inferred from that data. I was, and I do this stuff for a living. In many circumstances they can link your fb profile to a WhatsApp number, even if you use separate numbers. They refuse to answer any questions about what they do with that data, or who has access to it.

And as far as anyone knows, they keep it forever.

The best most ordinary people (either providers or customers) can do is to use separate phones, don't put the other number in the contacts and never call one phone from the other or link them in any way.

Most people who travel and tour use whatsapp, signal or telegram (the two last being more "safe"). We are often surprised when coming to places like Ireland or Australia where people DON'T use whatsapp to communicate. When you have friends and clients in many different countries, with different phones (android and iphone) and on different contracts and payplans, being able to text over the internet is the only thing that makes sense.

We do use whatsapp in Ireland, I would guess its the most popular messaging app

Its the local escorts that don't seem to use it to make appointments, I have no idea why this is the case

Telegram is not safe. Unless they've fixed it, group chats are not encrypted by default. Also, it's widely suspected in the security part of the IT biz that the Iranians, and probably others, have broken its encryption.

    Whatsapp is owned by fb.

Signal is still regarded as safe for now. Use Signal!

(By the way, if you can't get the SMS to set it up for the first time and many users in Ireland can't, use the call-a-number option. It works fine and you only have to do it once.)
