Having a rant is often the first stage. Once the anger is out, you can process the rest. Don't worry about the counsellor: a) they've heard it before, b) they train for it and c) they'll have someone to unload on too.

Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. We were brought up to believe otherwise, but it's a load of bollocks.

Mind yourself. (And by that I mean be kind to yourself. Dealing with grief takes time and work. It doesn't get better overnight - but it *will* get better).

Well said, there are a lot of kind genuine people here, escorts and punters, I've had the pleasure of meeting lots of them . None of us here can really help you but please do seek professional help in the real world. I think it might make things that bit easier.

We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....

You know jayo339, for me the hardest part was acceptance because everything around me reminded me of my loss.
Everyone deals with heartache of loss differently but the main thing is DO NOT keep it in. Some seek therapy, some go it alone
but if you have other family members or even supportive friends around, it does ease as time goes by but at the same time, you
do need some alone time to reflect. A big hug every now and then if also a small comfort. Take care pal.
