Your right, it is difficult to tell at times, even to the experienced punters, who is independent and who is pimped. I recently went to see, without mentioning any names of course, to see one of the highest reviewed escorts in the country, thinking that she would be working out of top notch accommodation given her status on here, the complete opposite infect. As soon as I was given general directions to an area I knew well, I was abit taken back that such a well reviewed, top class escort would wotk from this accommodation. Quite frankly, the place was an absolute dump, rotten, smelly, stained carpet that had shrunk, lined the staircase and landings, and your typical bedsit room at the top, which was just awful. I actually thought about leaving it was so bad. So you actually never know. This one really took me by surprise, that a highly rated so called independent girl worked from an absolute kip.

Ah lad... that means nothing. If she is working from a kip, then more often than not, she is given little or no choice. A lot of the top girls from time to time work from dodgy accom cos there is nothing daycent out there for them. Hotels are the only guarantee of some luxurious accom, but many dont like hotels.

Trafficked escorts. Has anybody met one? Is there a profile out there right now that you think may be trafficked? cos I would be very interested to see one. Managed (or pimped) is not the same as trafficked.

We have had this discussion time and time again. The percentages of independent, managed & forced are very hard to statistically put forward. You tell us the guards in santry know all about one gang,but for some reason,operation quest is ignoring them to run all around
the rest of the country,in favour of questioning potential punters and arresting pregnant escorts and girls sharing for brothel keeping

I think you are indulged if not in a fantasy then a deliberate exaggeration. Remember that any premises with more than one escort is regarded as a brothel. So even if the pope, Donald Trump or an armed and dangerous gang is managing the operation
they are unlikely to be around. Now the cops can bust these guys if they exist by getting their collective fingers out. Also it is strange if the recent reports of the 38 are true that the old bill sit outside premises and interview lads they believed have purchased sex in a brothel an illegal; act but they are very content to see the also illegal act of brothel keeping going ahead. Now this is a big problem for the police if guys have the money and the kahunas to challenge district court convictions all the way up the court ladder to the SC. The whole thing is a mess and the sex workers and johns caught with their pants down will suffer most.

However if you do claim that these places are operated by pimps/gangs and used by madams, then by law you will need to report this on.
