I've not seen one credible account of an arrest on this forum yet. Surely one of them would have posted details of whats happened them and asked for help. I'd be straight on here looking for a sympathetic solicitor whilst keeping my mouth shut. There won't be many convictions, if any, nearly impossible to prove without cameras.

If you watch a programme on Rte away back. Bunch of Dubliner who where a gang. Saved one lady who was beaten, rape, trafficked in against her consent.

It was a brutal watching and they got the 3 gangs members who where east european and took them out to warehouse. Beat the 3 gang members to near death, who trafficked her and others into the country. Then threaten them also to leave the country.

A pity they didn't excute them 3 gang members. Their was a thread up about it and I am afraid it true story. She eventually got them charged in Belfast crown court.

So the police take the easy way out and target punters, which is joke. The real criminal are out there making money.It us clients who help the Escorts pay her bills and whatever luxury she truly deserve. Because the ladies work damn hard for their fee.

Letterkenny and I know it well the area. It obvious, as the neighbours where complaining.

One time in my earlier punts, my mate and I was meeting two separate Ladies. Both of us in different times, where told to Feck off by the same neighbors. As we both describe him. That 5 years back now. I haven't punt there in years now.

I still don't see how the Guards are going to prove anything, unless the escort testifies (unlikely, and then it is only she-said, he-said) or the guy admits it - or they have cameras in bedrooms of escorts, which I can't imagine is very practical.

There may have been 38 arrests - but how many convictions are there going to be? A lot less, I would bet.

Yeah, this is the thing... they have to prove that (a) you had sex with the escort, and (b) money changed hands. Generally the only way that can be proven is if they catch you in the act, but they can't kick down anyone's door otherwise they will be sued. Very difficult to prove.

They have to do (a) and (b) if they want a conviction. If you get challenged by the Gardai out side some apartments they are hoping that just the threat of publishing your name for court, and your family/work/wife finding out will be enough to scare the shit out of you. It would scare the shit out of me personally, which is why I've stopped visiting the known locations in my part of the city, and only visit hotels with established girls. Even still I'me making appointment less and less over the last year or so.

Anyway, general consensus seems to be say nothing, give name and address if asked, don't give up your phone, don't comment on why you're in the area, stay calm and polite. And ask if you're ok to be on your way or are you under arrest. If you're under arrest then say absolutely nothing before talking to a solictor.

I'd also love to hear any storys from lads who have actually been confronted by Gardai, just to get a feeling how they go about it, how aggressive they are , how much BS they might try to trick you with.

its not hard to prove at all, that is nonsense,and police dont kick doors in anyway, they know these polices like back of their hand anyhow but still can be weeks or months of monitoring depending on what info they have, get warrant and thats it, like its all so very easy but theyre only in 1st gear as it is
