KIK Messenger shutting down
KIK messenger supposed to be winding down/shutting this week.
Any recommendations for a similar alternative that doesn't require a phone number to register and doesn't look for access to camera or contacts as basic requirements?
Skype ,snapchat, telegram etc all require a phone number and /or access to contacts or camera.
I don't even know what facebook messenger uses or requires but id rule it out just based on the fact that I aint a facebook user/fan

WeChat is one app that may be useful as a replacement.
I have it, but don't use it.

It was the Cork massage group's fault. They over loaded it. Also I think Floki had a hand in shutting it down for that reason.
You can set up a Group in What's app.

Oh, just saw this now, thats a shame, great app,so easy to use too.
