"Decriminalization refers to the removal of all criminal and administrative prohibitions and penalties on sex work, including laws targeting clients and brothel owners.
It differs from legalization, which is a legislative regime characterized by significant regulations—many of which can limit rights and protections, create mechanisms for abuse by authorities, and have other negative impacts on sex workers. New Zealand and New South Wales, Australia are two jurisdictions known for their decriminalized sex industries.

Decriminalization goes hand-in-hand with recognizing sex work as work and protecting the rights of sex workers through labor law, and workplace health and safety regulations. When sex work is decriminalized, sex workers can press for safer working conditions and use the justice system to seek redress for discrimination and abuse.4 Sex workers are more likely to live without stigma, social exclusion, or fear of violence. Even where sex work is decriminalized, the prostitution of minors and human trafficking can and should remain criminal acts.

Doesn't decriminalization still leave escorts open to some penalties like fines tho?

Under “Decriminalization” it becomes a Labor Law issue xx

Trafficking and bad behavior still (shall be !!) pursued by law , and prosecuted by the Courts !!

But the base existence and state of Being a Provider no longer prosecutable - as it should be >>>

    Labor Law .

: Treat it as a Job in the eyes of the Law ! With all its benefits , and w all its obligations x

    >> Now foreign girls getting jacked up left and right , catching 9 months in jail

for the simple fact that they were sharing for safety .

    : How Many traffickers ,

how many ‘pimps’ or crooked landlords been brought up in last near 3 years !??

    # DECRIMINALIZE - shortest bestest way to protect those who need protection , and in meantime

not make Criminals out of otherwise law abiding men .

What’s now in place is idiotic madness , - Serving No One - other than Ruh and some boys in colors

who pocket €€€ from Victims of the trade .

    Despicable !!!

Agreed, thats kinda what i was getting at in my first post, that it is the
shortest, least resisted road as opposed to legalization

to be honest,i prob shouldn't be offering an opinion on which escorts would prefer as i'm
neither an escort or well versed on the distinction of the two

my basic understanding of the terminology was this :

"Decriminalization means taking an act that is illegal and removing criminal penalties; for example, you don't get a criminal record for speeding, although you still have to pay the fine.
Legalization means taking an act that is illegal and making it legal, with no fines/penalties/etc"

Am not too familiar with how escorts in countries that have legalized rather than decriminalized consider
    which is best either

    Decriminilising is a welcome step

but does it the accept the sex workers right to undertake this work

how can this WORK exist without customers

while the customers are also criminalised
