If you are accosted by people purporting to be plain clothes Guards you have the right to ask them to show identification which you should read properly.
If they do not oblige that would be fertile material for a lawyer.
If they didn't show it when requested and lie about it in any court case that would amount to perjury and again that would be appropriate material for a competent lawyer.
Uniformed Guards have to have their number displayed on their shoulder at all times ,not to do so may well be illegal.
There have been isolated cases in the past where uniformed Guards have removed these numbers prior to engaging in" crowd control".
If you are ever dealing with them note that these numbers are displayed and note the actual identification.

Shoulder numbers are preceded by the letter or letters of the county or district that they cover.
All guards talk the same and have movements that other people don't share. You always know when you're talking to guard. I can spot a plain clothes guard in a crowded shopping center. All I need is a glimpse.
A lot of people here sound like drug users.

Posture, clothes, they way they wear the clothes. The clothes are never expensive or fashionable. Normally worn looking because they think it makes them blend better. They are normally talking to each other under their breath so it's easy to spot those faces cos the lips are not moving normally. They will position their head in a way that it's not directly looking at you, but the rapid eye movement as they try to watch you out of the corner of the eyes is a dead giveaway.
If you think somebody is watching you in public, it's because they are.
