Thats awful and i have to laugh(if it was not so serious) at that CIA guys accusations about wiki leaks being "a non state hostile intelligence service run by Russia."
The CIA is one of the most shady organizations in the world responsible for horrendous acts on the USA and other countries.

Don't think so but i would imagine wiki leaks would work with anyone who exposes the truth. The CIA always blame Russia.

The Americans will pursue fellows like Assange and fellows less than him for decades.
However he and Wikileaks were probably played as patsies by the Russians during the 2016 American Presidential Campaign,probably directly or indirectly driven by Putin.Clinton was regarded as inimical and critical of Putin and his regime,Putin and Obama also had a poor relationship.
The current Jackass-in-Chief was seen as a preferable option for Putin and the Russians .
In other words Wikileaks could be eventually targeted as a conduit for misinformation,not withstanding its early good deeds in exposing the machinations of various Western governments.

Whatever about American's approach to seeking "justice" with Assange, I have to say I don't like the guy. I think his motivations are suspect, its pretty clear it was all about stroking his own ego. Very, very different to Snowden's approach, which sought to minimise the focus on the person doing the leaking.

And for what its worth I totally believe the allegations against him in Sweden. It came across as predatory behaviour sleeping with these women, almost like a cult leader, and while the sex may have been consensual the act of surreptitiously taking off the condom and ejaculating inside those women without their consent absolutely constitutes a sexual assault.
