Wasn't a fan of Frankie Boyle before this and not a fan after this. Making jokes about people being murdered is not on.

He uses comedy as a means of dealing with serious political issues and sensitive discussion topics. That's the point. That's the joke. He's not ACTUALLY calling for the IRA to start killing people.
It's like when a newspaper accused him of being racist because he made a racist joke. His racist jokes are to satirise people who sincerely hold those opinions, but yet, this somehow seems to go over everyone's heads.
But anyway, the joke is lost when it has to be explained. So never mind.

He uses comedy as a means to line his own pockets. Its his job. Making that kind of joke on a TV station that taxes the poor. yeah frankie is a real stand up guy.
