No you are wrong, thinking 2 genders is subscribing to the gender binary and history has shown us there are more. The gender spectrum if you like.
The body is not black and white, there is intersex, hormones etc etc expand the biological. The identity is a personal experience and overcomes the labelling.
each sex can have traits of each other, some of them very strong.
In nature, snakes, lions, fish etc etc all can change sex or exhibit opposite sex behaviour as and when the situation arises.
For example, Nemo or the clown fish, changes sex to female when its dominant female partner dies
