    Yes.

From 4th December 2017, a generic version of the medication (Emtricitabine/Tenofovir disoproxil Teva) is available in pharmacies in the Republic of Ireland. You can only get it with a doctor’s prescription.

    Hm.

I was going by the article .. >>>

“PrEP, a preventative medicine which is taken daily, reduces the risk of contracting HIV by more than 99% and is at least as effective as condoms at preventing the virus spreading - but is not available in Ireland.”

Hm. So yea . Sky I won’t be trusting much from now on either :lmto: ^^^^

: still , good to have da conversation .

    > good that it’s available - generally would be geared to health workers and first responders elsewhere , dunno ROI x

But great that it’s attainable in ROI as well xx

: Was gonna post this on tail of my last post Hour+ ago .. - got distracted ..

    Ok , so here’s a further thought ? >>>

    >>> is the availability of PrEP the reason people seem so careless ?

: Would be more careless than in the past ?

: after all apparently there Is a ‘crisis’ of new cases diagnosed ?

Can you just picture every 17hrs a new person told ?

And what is the cost of this daily-for-rest-of-your-life

K . I’ll drop the subject . Am just intrigued and somewhat flummoxed at the Why x

There is a great Steven Fry Documentary about HIV. You would find it on youtube, two parts if i remember correctly.

One of the interesting things was a guy who wanted to be infected with HIV. Basically he went to club and had four or five guys who were positive "cum" in him, one after the other.

I remember that scottish escort talking about a thing called "bug catchers" or something like that. It was basically men who sought out other men who were infected with HIV to have sex with them. I thought at first it was something to do with pest control.

This is very worrying to see, but I'm not surprised, just listening to the ladies I visit and the stories of the amount of guys wanting BB and during doggy trying to take the condom off, no respect for their partners or the ladies, absolute scumbags.
