Pets are for life!!!

It is that time of the year again in which people get a dog for their children for Christmas.
Unfortunately, many of the these beautiful and innocent animals are mistreated and abandon.

If it comes to the case in which you no longer want the pet, or you can't take care of it for any reasons, then don't be a selfish asshole and abandon it or take it to a shelter.

The best thing to do is to ask around to people you may know, maybe even put it an advert.
There will always be somebody who will take care of it.

Always remember that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas.





Love your little companion and they'll show you how much they love you.

You can tell a lot about how good a person is by the way they treat animals and you are a good ‘un.

My dog is my life, without him, I wouldn't be here.
He is my saviour and also is family.

I will always take care of him to the best I can and make sure that he is always happy.

It is not as difficult to look after a dog than lets say a child. Some people get a pet for christmas and then complain about all the time and effort that goes into minding a dog. Maybe my dog is just easy to mind. Feed twice a day, go for a walk twice a day and then he is grand. Would much rather have three dogs than three children.

Granted though some breeds like a border collie need exercise and so on.

I don't think pets are a suitable present at any time of year. The decision to get a pet needs to be a long and well thought-out decision on the part of the owner.

And it is a shame as this is one of the very, very few lucky dogs to be saved.

As a good tip, which will help many dogs around the world: Never buy a dog from a breeder, always adopt.
There too are many dog in shelters that will never get to feel real love as this one has gotten.

All dog deserve love and a family.
Take care of them, as they will always look up to you and will take care of you.

During the storm last February we took in a cat that was obviously a pet at some point, she had a limp but was lovely.

We discovered last Monday that she had cancer for the past year and we didn't have any idea until she stopped eating last week.

She went in for an operation on Tuesday and is slowly recovering. Now just to hope the tumour doesn't come back.
