There is a lot of stigma against prostitution. And Ireland is a small enough place. So an escort could have a client who knows them. Would not be surprized if you have more irish escorts in the Uk.

I guess it's because many Irish people are afraid to work in the industry for fear of being spotted or God forbid having someone we know showing up as a client!!

Also there is still a bullshit stigma regarding working in the sex industry in this country, the lingering backwardness of old catholic Ireland.
