No, in the part where it asks "How much did it cost" if you don't select a currency is says "This field must be completed"

I'm not sure either but I can't think of anything else that would even mention currency.

Can't do anything in this country without currency. Why should leaving reviews be any different?

A few euro in a plain brown envelope handed to your local politician should do the trick.
